Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning, "Spinning Wheel". Chakras are the spinning areas of energy of the body. When one or more of these chakras stop spinning (otherwise known as blocked energy), a pathology could set in. Working with the chakras is known as "Energy Medicine".
