There are lots of ways that we lose energy.   It's the way we think, the way we eat and what lifestyle we are conditioned to live.  Our "work ethic" alone is enough to drive us to the brink of despair and anxiety.  Relaxation, massage, living in the moment are new concepts to the Occident.  Oriental societies have been involved in these healing concepts for 2,500 years.  Many of us are just beginning to conceptualize a society of rest and peace of mind. 

Peace of Mind is one way to invoke energy in your life.  Leaving your mind free of worry will allow you incredible amounts of energy for all kinds of wonderful activities.  Try meditation for this.  In the Orient they say that the mind is the cart and the breath is the Horse. By breathing and focusing on what's happening now, we keep our mind's in check.  In our busy every day lives, our carts are pulling the horses.  Our fears our leading us into reaction instead of action (and we know how effective this is!)  Many stressful situations can be alleviated just by stopping and breathing.  When you are angry and someone says,"Count to ten." There's a lot of wisdom in that. Stopping to count to ten urges us to stop and think before acting impulsively. 

As many things that we do to sabotage our energy, there are other ways that we increase our energy flow.  Several quick tips are given on the side bar of this page but you can also enjoy more energy in your life by not putting off uncomfortable tasks.  Make lists of all the things that plaque your everyday thoughts. If you owe money, a letter to a loved one, an apology, if you have childhood issues of abandonment and feel you need help and guidance. Get help today.  It's important to live as fully and as purposefully now.  Do all the good you can for you don't know when you'll have another chance says the Bible. 

Thankfully in the 21st Century many avenues of help and support are being created every day for us.  We only have to "Surf the Net" to find excellent ideas and places for advise.  In truth we have much available to us. Many times we know what to do but need help getting down to it.  As always it is wise to enlist support from those who care and love you.  If you don't feel you have such support the time now is to create it. Don't waste another day.  There is someone out there waiting for you to step into their lives.  Build bridges and not walls!
