Praise For Mike's Scalp Treatment

From Sue P:
My hair stylist here in Atlanta, specializes in fine hair and hair loss. He has
clients with trich, cancer, alopecia, and those who simply have very fine which is hard to
make do anything -- an issue I have in addition to the trich. Albert works
from his home so his clients have complete privacy. I know a puller who drives all
the way from Chattanooga to see him, and he says he has several long-time clients to come
from that far away. I got a lot of compliments on my hair at the TLC conference from people who know me and said
my current style is much more flattering.
The message I want people to know is: Albert says scalp treatment is very important for
hair to grow back. He uses Nioxin products for that reason. Out of curiosity I printed out
Mike's article and took it in to Albert to get his opinion. His comments were that
it's all good, it makes sense, he's done his research. The part about wrapping your
head in a warm moist towel, Albert says he's done that for 20 years but you don't find
many places that do it anymore. (He did that with another puller friend of mine who
wears a wig, to help loosen all the gunk on her scalp. He also suggested that she go
without her wig whenever she can so her scalp can breathe -- she lives alone so she can do
this. She felt that she got a lot of benefit out of Albert's treatment.)
So there you have it, an endorsement from a professional stylist whose
specializes in helping people with hair loss. I told Mike this, and he said
he knows about the faster hair regrowth using his scalp treatment, he has seen it in both
people with trich and people with cancer. Doctors have commented that their cancer
patient's hair grew back faster than expected. I'm sure modest Mike has not shared this
with this mailer, so I am.
The other benefit that I've heard from people who have tried Nioxin and
people who have done Mike's scalp treatment, is that the treatment makes their scalp FEEL
better, in particular it takes away that itch that makes them want to pull.
Mike replied to me that he's seen Nioxin irritate some people. I haven't
heard anything like that, I've only good things (or at least neutral) from
people who have tried it. Same with Mike's scalp treatment. So I'd say
choose one or the other, but do scalp treatment because it's important.
The only other thing Albert added was that trimming your hair every 4-6
weeks stimulates it to grow. I know when you're growing it back in and every millimeter is
hard-fought, you don't want to cut any off. But though it seems like a paradox,
Albert says it works. You can just trim the very ends.
